AGNES MARIE SENNIE (nee MARTIN) Our dear mother, Agnes, left to be with Dad whom she stated lately that she missed and thought about him a lot. Our mother was the strongest person we had and the anchor for and influence on our family. She was and is the best mother we children could have had. We were fortunate and will remember her fondly. Our mother was a busy person. She grew a garden, sometimes two. She was always cooking, baking and storing for the winter. She was busy from sunrise to sunset and still managed to knit, crochet, sew, make blankets, etc., while still lovingly caring for her family. She raised and guided us well. Mom was predeceased by our Dad and her husband, Stephan; sons Jean and Dennis; daughter Sandra; son-in-law Oliver Monkman; great-great-granddaughter Arianna; her parents; and all her siblings. She was the last one. Mom is survived by her children Patricia Monkman, Marcel, Theresa (Richard) and Luann (Herman) Sennie; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Mom's last years were in Emerson Personal Care Home. A serious fall had taken her to Morris Hospital where she passed away with her family beside her. We thank the staff of Emerson Personal Care Home for her care and for respecting Mom's independence. Thank you to the Morris Hospital staff and Dr. Fraser for our mother's comfort. Thank you to Cory of Morris Funeral Home for all that was done for Mom. Also, to Sheldon of Roseau River First Nation for preparing our mother to her forever freedon. As mom requested, cremation has taken place. She will be with Dad on Sunday, September 23, her birthday; and the best birthday she will have.
