AMEDEE SABOURIN Amédée Sabourin died suddenly on September 14, 2018, at the Morris Hospital, at 92 years of age. Amédée leaves to mourn his wife of 68 years, Thérèse (Larivière), his children, Diane (René Perreault), Réjane (Denis Fillion), Hubert (Edmée Bilodeau), Daniel (Terry Landry), Gaétane (Raynald Dupuis) and Marie-Paule (Luc Brémault), his daughter-in-law Jacqueline (Barnabé) (Rick Tycholis), his 24 grandchildren, their spouses, and 20 great-grandchildren. Amédée was predeceased by his son Ulric and his parents, Ulric and Elisabeth. Amédée was the sixth of eleven children: + Florence (+ Gérard Talbot), Cécile (+ Marcel Turcotte, + Roland Provost), Rose-Aimée (+ Louis Pavlik), + Théodore (+ Bella Desrochers), + Lucie (+ Norbert Clément), Denise (Donat Touchette), + Roland (Corinne Garand), Lorraine (+ Bernard Ricard), Luc (Yvette Lafond) and Marc. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the St-Jean-Baptiste Catholic Church, and will be presided by Father Patrice Kasonga. Music and eulogy will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the funeral mass will follow at 4:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Centennial Hall.
