  • We are so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was one of the good guys and the world was a better place with him in it. We enjoyed playing sports wit him and discussing his philosophies on how things worked in the world. One comment in particular was when he would give advise to younger girls on marriage, "you can marry a rich guy or a poor guy, so why not marry a rich guy." We remember his love for the Canadians and Yankees and take some comfort in knowing he is likely playing catch with his father now. He was a good friend and he will be missed by both Mina and I. Our deepest condolences to Dianne and his family. - Posted by: Brian McCallum (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2018

  • BOB YOU HAVE BEEN IN OUR FAMILY FOR A LONG TIME AND WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND CONDOLENCES TO DIANE AND FAMILY. - Posted by: Annette Tardiff (friend) on: Sep 28, 2018

  • Bobby - what a pleasure it was to know and work with him. If I tried, I doubt I could find one bad thing to say about him. He was fun, intelligent, professional and a joy to work with and be around. Had many long talks. Pretty sure he was liked by all - he just had such a quiet, but important presence wherever he was. No doubt he will be terribly missed. Hoping that all who knew, loved and appreciated him will soon only think of the good times with him, without the memories of suffering. RIP - so glad that I had the chance to know you, bro! - Posted by: JAN (Past-coworker & friend) on: Sep 27, 2018

  • Bob and I worked together for many years and we were on the same squad as well. Bob was one of the first officers I had the pleasure to work with. I still remember as if it was just last week, Bob and I in SWT, or a Checkpoint, and he opens his bag to pull out his lunch/dinner, a tea pot and cup. All while listening to something on the radio. One of the first things Bob said to me, "the time goes by slowly but the years go quick". As I think back now, Bobby, you nailed it!! You were a great co-worker, mentor and friend, you may have left us but you will NEVER be forgotten. RIP Brother!! - Posted by: James (Past co-Worker and Friend) on: Sep 26, 2018
