BEVERLY CAROL NORD (nee SMITH) Born: September 20, 1944 Date Of Passing: July 21, 2018 Tragically on Saturday, July 21, 2018 Beverly Carol Nord passed away, at her home, at the age of 73. She will be dearly missed by her five children, Kelly (Jocelyn), Carla (Len), Wesley, Kiersten (Michael) and Eric (Ada); her four grandchildren, Michaela, Connor, Harrison and Ceridwen. She also leaves behind her sister Brenda, brother-in-law Tom, her sister Holly, brother Alexander, and her three beloved dogs, Jazzy, Hector and Malibu. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Beverly's closest friends, Rabbi Anibal Mass, Ashira Meyers Mass, Tzivie Meyers, Rick Lee, Laurie Shapiro and Jackie Cuthbert for their tremendous support. Beverly graduated from the Grace General Hospital School of Nursing on June 27, 1975. She enjoyed a very fulfilling career in various areas of nursing working as a Registered Nurse in E.R. and I.C.U., also including Health Sciences Centre Respiratory Centre, research at U.B.C. in Vancouver, BC, the Victorian Order of Nurses and the W.R.H.A. as a Home Care Case Co-ordinator. Beverly was devout with her faith in Judaism, she learned to read, write, speak Hebrew and read from the Torah which is very difficult to accomplish. Beverly was very kind, generous, loving and had many interests, among her favourites she loved to cook, offer hospitality and crochet. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
