BRENDEN ROLAND MORGAN After a brief but heroic battle with cancer, it is with deep regret and overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of Brenden Roland Morgan, on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 61 years. Brenden is survived by his loving wife Andrea West; daughter Keely Morgan (partner Chris Rodrigues); son Aiden Morgan; grandchildren, Katarina and Henrique; sister Michelle Morgan (husband Ernie Hollman) and mother Margaret Wilwant. He was predeceased by sister Anita Morgan; father Roland Morgan and stepfather Larry Wilwant. A successful, well respected Realtor of 30 years, Brenden will be missed by clients and peers alike. The family is grateful to the many, many clients and fellow Realtors who reached out to express their condolences and share their stories of gratitude for Brenden's work. Brenden was proud of his work with the Winnipeg Real Estate Association and over the years served on several charitable boards including Special Olympics Manitoba. He was fiercely devoted to family and nurtured his friendships with envied dedication. A longterm member of the Winnipeg Squash Club, Brenden was equally committed to his athletic pursuits and the club's fellowship. Benden was a deep patriot. Often referred to as 'Mr. Canada'. No one had as extensive a Canadian themed wardrobe as Brenden. His support of Canadian athletes and teams was infectious. Brenden's 'Hulk' pose, as Canada won gold, was legendary. He loved Canada so much, he had the Canadian flag tattooed over his heart. His deep appreciation of world travel and the 'Great Outdoors' was a passion he shared with family and friends. Brenden lived life large! And in the end...he died the way he lived...fast, furious and with no apologies! The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors at HSC for their outstanding care of Brenden, with profound thanks to Dr. Jillian Horton whose compassion, and empathy brought great comfort to us all. A private gathering celebrating Brenden's life will be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. My condolences to Brenden’s family. I’ve known Brenden for about 30 years, after first meeting him when I worked with his Mom, Marge. Brendan helped me buy and sell my past three homes. We kept in touch periodically on Facebook and updated each other on our family’s going on. I will miss him and his friendship. He was a great guy. RIP Brenden. - Posted by: Lisa Dixon (Family friend/previous client) on: Sep 29, 2018
