Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS LOUISE MARTIN (nee TOWN) January 3, 1932 - October 8, 2018 After a lengthy illness, Gladys passed peacefully at the age of 86. Gladys was born in Winnipeg to Robert and Louise Town and had three brothers and five sisters. Gladys spent many years on Brandon Avenue in Winnipeg and married Nick Martin on August 3, 1951. She leaves to mourn, her six children, Marlynda (Gerald), Robert (Kathy), Brenda (Curtis), Cindy (Jim), Pam (Robert) and Kolean (Gavino). Gladys had 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Gladys enjoyed life with many years bowling, playing darts, cards and was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Toastmasters organization "Goodbye Jitters". Thanks to the caring staff at St. Joseph's Residence, family and friends for their love and support over her last remaining days. In honouring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Mom will be announced at a later date.
