HARVEY JAMIESON November 17, 1940 - October 4, 2018 Peacefully, with family at his side, Harvey passed away after a short battle with cancer. Harvey is survived by his daughter Wendy (Rob), grandsons, Mike and Evan; son Darren (Kelee), grandson Kurt, granddaughter Faith; sister Linda (Fred) and brothers, Pat (Jan) and Tim. He will also be sadly missed by former colleagues, friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Donna; daughter Lori, mothers, Helen and Pearl, father John and sister Judy. Harvey was born in Welwyn, SK and grew up in Moosomin where he met and married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Donna. Harvey worked in the retail industry with Saan Stores where he made many lifelong friends and travelled the world. After retiring from Saan, he realized his lifelong dream of becoming a long-haul truck driver. Harvey and Donna loved travelling, camping, fishing and just spending time at the lake with friends and family. When Donna retired, they fulfilled a lifelong dream by taking a motorhome trip across Canada and the US. Harvey lost his world in 2005 when his beloved wife passed away; they are together once more. He was an avid Rider, Jets and Yankee fan. He also enjoyed watching his grandsons, Mike and Evan, play hockey. A private Celebration of Life will be held. A private interment will take place in Moosomin at a later date. Thank you to all of the health care staff that helped Harvey throughout his illness. Special thanks to Dr. Pfeffer and Dr. Horton. In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba may be made in Harvey's honour. Wojcik's Funeral Chapels & Crematoriums, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, 204.586.8668 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com

We were saddened to learn of Harv’s illness and passing. I knew Harv well in high school in Moosomin, and my wife Dawn attended nursing school in REGINA with Donna. We were very touched when Harv and Donna visited us in Victoria, during their cross Canada tour prior to Donna’s passing. What an enjoyable evening we spent reminiscing about Moosomin! Fortunately, we had a good visit with Harv during the wonderful Moosomin High School reunion in 2017. Our condolences to Harv’s family any many friends in Winnipeg, Moosomin and across Canada.
