Devoted father of Daniel (Carol), Gary (Jennifer Lemen) and Andrew (Jodi) Schwartz. Cherished grandfather of Eric, Stacy and Michael Schwartz. Dear brother-in-law of Sandy Helman. Loving uncle of David Helman and Deborah Helman and her husband, Wayne Hayes. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, Olney, MD, with interment following. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Social Service Agency. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME 202-541-1001

  • My deepest and sincere condolences to you Sandy, to your nephews and their families.. Sandy, I don't have to explain to do how far back our families go and I am really sorry for your loss. I remember the day that Myra and Sam got married even though I was so little, she got dressed at home and came into our home so my zaida could see her in her gown. I will never forget that. For years I was in contact with her but then things changed and I lost contact.
