WINFRIED MUNDHENKE Suddenly on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Winfried died at Grace Hospital at the age of 81 years. Left to mourn Winfried are his wife Patricia, of 52 years of marriage; daughter Anita Niallatratt and granddaughter Emma, Natalie Mundhenke; sister Ina Mundhenke in Germany; as well as cousins in Germany and Australia. Winfried was a faithful and loyal servant of Jehovah since 1957. He came to Canada in 1961. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humour and that sparkle in his eyes. Winfried's diligence in his ministry as he shared his bible's hope for the future. Many young ones will remember his bible quizzes which stimulated their research for answers. On Friday, November 2, 2018 a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 325 Wallasey Street. In addition to knowing Winfried and his family I also worked with Winfried for many years at Agfa Graphics where Winfried had a reputation as one of the most skilled technicians in our company. Customers could initially be frustrated by his unwavering commitment to thoroughness and attention to detail, often wanting a quick fix. After they got to know him however, they would ask for him by name because they came to learn that if you had a complex and difficult problem to solve it was Winfried who would find a solution, and do the job right. We likewise came to appreciate his dry, but very clever, sense of humour. Even after retirement we knew that if we wanted to know details about a particular technical call he might have done years in the past Winfried would have an accurate record of everything that was done, which often helped the techs that worked in winnipeg after him. - Posted by: Brian Paradis (Coworker) on: Oct 27, 2018
