ED PIELECH Born: June 10, 1936 Passed Away: October 19, 2018 Ed passed away peacefully, with his stepdaughter, Sandy, by his side, on October 19, 2018. He was predeceased by his loving wife Joan, of 46 years, in 2013. He will be deeply missed by his stepdaughter Sandy (Terry), stepson Ken (Lynda), grandchildren, Cheryl (Des), Kim (Chris), Samantha (Dorian) and Randy, as well as great-grandchildren, Ambrea, Brielle, Atlas, Daedric, Mira and Charlie, along with numerous nephews and nieces. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre for the loving care they gave to him. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he was an avid sports fan who loved to golf, bowl and spend time with family and friends. He loved the Jets, Bombers and Pine Ridge Golf Club. He struggled with health issues for the last few years but fought courageously. He gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.
