Jayden, I remember first meeting you in a daycare program at David Livingstone School and we were best and cool buds. But since you are gone, I am very heartbroken to hear that you unfortunately passed away. Now it has been one year since you passed on. Those times were the best times I ever had time with you. Thanks for the fun time. I hope you rest easy, Jayden. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Caleb Funk (Friend) on: Oct 26, 2019

I offer my deepest condolences to you all. My heart is broken to hear of this news. I had the great opportunity of knowing Jayden in her grade 8 year at Bernie Wolfe. Although I only had a few conversations with her I knew she was a great kid. She was incredibly thoughtful and friendly to all. In my short time knowing her I was able to see that she cared deeply about others. I sat with her a few times and she shared with me some personal mementos. I remember when she was leaving Bernie Wolfe she expressed how she was sad to be leaving but appeared to be hopeful for a new home situation/start. She wanted to complete the assignment we were working on before she left and what she accomplished in her last day on it was impressive. She showed her attention to detail and level of creativity. She basically had completed the assignment in one day. She made two different drafts where one had a tie dye effect and lots of color to it. I honestly felt like I connected with her in the short amount of time I did spend with her. I am grateful for the amount of time I did get to spend with her and will always keep her in my thoughts. I am incredibly sorry for your loss and just thought I would share a few stories of the memories I had while teaching Jayden. - Posted by: Elissa Brok (Student Teacher at Bernie Wolfe Community Centre) on: Nov 07, 2018
