ALINE MARIE CARROL (nee BALABUCH) August 16, 1951 - October 27, 2018 After a 42 year struggle with many health challenges, Aline is now reunited with her husband Ken, and together are at peace. When confronted with health problems to overcome, she had a "just watch me" attitude. Just recently we watched her finally learn to drive, with her state of the art wheelchair and half a good hand. She lived her life with gusto. She loved cooking, housekeeping, ironing (which she could do better than anyone with two good hands), and baking. She loved strongly; her family, her husband, and a parade of stray cats, with names like Yada-Yada, and Prism. She was a philosopher and counselor to many. She always laughed at things she found ludicrous, foolish or cute. Aline leaves behind her sisters, Sharon, Laurette (Tim); "nephs and niecews", Sancha, Shaena, Chad, Jared, and Jordan; great "nephs and niecews", Inara, Keiran, Taya, Donovan, Liriel, Evan, Tessa, and Gracie. She will also be missed by her friends, Maggie, Ian, and Gary. She appreciated the special lovely ladies at Lions Personal Care Centre who went beyond care giving: Allison, Jen, Josephine, Lisa, Loureline, Paula, Sen, and Odette. It is everywhere in everyway, With everlasting care. It triumphs both in sickness and It triumphs when in health. It triumphs in times good or bad, In poverty or wealth. Not only then but always now, Your love that is sublime, Which seems to grow each moment Throughout each year of time. And when the present ends today And then becomes the past, And yesterday is left behind Tomorrow comes at last. Your love transcends all days and weeks, With each and every year. With care and love and magic You just wipe away each tear. I value all your beauty, And the miracles you do. And will worship you forever, Till the old becomes the new.
