CAPT. HENRY ALBERT (JOHN) VOS November 20, 1936 - October 31, 2018 John passed away, with his wife by his side, in Vancouver, BC on October 31, 2018. Besides his wife, Ira, he leaves a daughter Laura, in the US. He was a multi-talented person but flying was his passion. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1961. John had various postings in Canada, a stint as a peacekeeper in Vietnam, a stint as a test pilot and a flying instructor. Upon retiring from the R.C.A.F., he joined the reserves out of Winnipeg, flying with 402 Squadron. He retired in 1992. Two of his best companions in life were his childhood companion, Brown, and later in life, Tuck - both man's best friends. Cremation has taken place. There is no ceremony planned at this time.
