OLGA FINGERHUT (nee ORESKEVICH) July 9, 1940 - November 17, 2018 Olga Fingerhut (nee Oreskevich) passed away peacefully, on November 17, 2018 in Delta, BC, at the age of 78, after a brief illness. She was born on July 9, 1940 in Winnipeg, where she spent most of her life before moving to British Columbia in 2001. Olga was an avid walker all of her life and would, to the surprise of many, think nothing of walking 10 kilometres or more on a nice summer day. Up until a couple of years ago, she could be seen regularly walking the Seawall at Stanley Park in Vancouver, one of her favourite places. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughter Linda of Vancouver; son Barry (Susan Eldridge) of Halifax; twin sister Vicki Rastocky of Los Angeles; brother Fred Rowe (Barbara) of Delta; cousin and close friend Teresa Oreszkiewicz of Tsawwassen; beloved grandchildren, Evan and Liam of Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband Martin Fingerhut. We will miss you very much, Mom. You are in a better place now.
