Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWARRANT OFFICER DENNIS LISLE NORMAN Dennis passed away on Sunday morning, November 18, 2018, at Seven Oaks Hospital, aged 67. He was predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Edith and Bob Stenhouse; by his father and stepmother, Harry and Beryl Norman; and by his brother Raymond Norman. Dennis joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1968, serving with 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron and at the Department of National Defence, Ottawa, among other postings. He lived in Winnipeg following his retirement. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

I'm not sure if anyone will actually see this but I thought I'd at least try. My name is Sarah, I was born March 22, 1971 and adopted at birth. Recently my birth mother (Christine Paton) disclosed that Dennis was my father. I was very sorry to find his obituary in my online search for him but I am hopeful that perhaps there is someone in his family or group of friends that may see this somehow and possibly respond. I was raised in a happy healthy home with wonderful parents and had an excellent childhood. I am not looking for anything more than to know who my father was, hopefully hear some stories and see some pictures and maybe meet some extended family if there are any. Worth a shot and this is all I have to go by.
