Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRYLAN GARAND It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rylan Carter Garand on Sunday, November 25, 2018 Rylan was born on October 23, 1993 in Winnipeg, MB. He was a bright and shining light. Creative, imaginative, brilliant, witty and sensitive. He had the slyest of smiles, and warmest of hearts. We will miss him more than words can say. He is survived by his parents, Lesley (Archie) Inkster and Robert Garand; brothers, Alexander and Dustin Garand; grandparents, Claire Howe and Roy MacVittie; aunties, Melanie MacVittie, Joanne Jeanson, Gail Garand and Virginia Garrow; cousins, William MacVittie, Kristine and Jennifer Jeanson; stepfamily, Leah, Eric, Chelsea, Kaidan and Lawrence Inkster. No service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

Rylan's Family: Please accept my deepest condolences. I am absolutely devastated to have recently learned of Rylan's passing. He was a big part of my son, Jeff's, life and they were close buddies - soccer, skating, scouts, etc. We were blessed to have Rylan join us at Clear Lake and Grand Beach for a couple of weekends and I am so grateful to have known Rylan. He was such a gentle soul, well-mannered, fun loving, talented and a real pleasure to have around. We will cherish the memories forever. It is with great sadness that I'm faced with having the send my deepest sympathy for such a young man that I only as a young child. Rylan always had a smile on his face and eyes that forever twinkled. He will surely be missed and the world is not going to be the same without him. Dear Parents and family of Ryland, It is with sincere sympathy that I learned of Ryland’s death in today’s obituaries. My son Graham was a diagnosed Schizophrenic who also took his own life at age 25. The disease is so devastating and difficult to comprehend. The pain of loosing a son so young is extreme.
