WILLIAM (BILL) HENRY STERTZ January 1, 1934 - December 7, 2018 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing at home surrounded by his family, of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bill. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Anne, and his twin sister Barb. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of 59 years; children, Denice (Brian), Bill, and Keri; grandchildren, Tyler, Amanda (Kyle), Stacey, Tim, Matt, Ali, and Riley; great-grandchildren, Aria and Anya. The family wishes to extend thanks to Dr. Carriere and staff at Kildonan Medical Centre, to Pat Janzen at Home Respiratory and the nurses from WHRA Palliative Care Program, for all their care and kindness. In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation will take place with a private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
