Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRENDA JOY SMYTHE (SALTER) After a battle with Ovarian cancer, Brenda peacefully passed away on November 29, 2018, at Riverview Health Centre. Her husband Ken was present at her side. She will be missed by her husband Ken, son Michael, and daughter-in-law Patricia (Rogers). Brenda was predeceased by her mother and father, Verna (Drain) and Melville. Brenda sang with several choirs throughout her life - Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute (DMCI) choir and later the DMCI Alumni Choir and Trinity United choir. A celebration of Brenda's life will take place at the Trinity United Church, 933 Summerside Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3T 4Y1, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to send a sincere thank you to the staff at Riverview Palliative Care and Personal Care Programs. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brenda may be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, in care of Palliative Care Program, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
