JANETTE BAIRD THRUMBLE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janette on December 18, 2018 at Concordia Place Personal Care Home. Janette is survived by her husband Colin of 61 years; daughters, Janet (Anthony) and Jacqueline (Richard); grandchildren, Colin, Richard, Samantha and Johnathan; great-grandchildren, Karma Jean, Isabella and Samuel along with numerous extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her son John. Janette was born on January 23, 1940 in Denny, Scotland. She spent her working life in the hospitality industry and enjoyed meeting people. In her later years she enjoyed golfing, bowling, travelling, spending time with family and attending church functions. Janette had the ability to make friendships with people in a deep and positive way. Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all the support from so many people during this journey. Family, friends and others whose lives Janette touched are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland St., Winnipeg, MB R2G 2S3 on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., with a gathering time of remembrance following the service.
