ERNEST GEORGE RYLE It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ernest Ryle on December 19, 2018. Ernest was predeceased by his wife Christina on August 17, 1985; their sons, George on April 24, 1964 and Kelvin on December 26, 1969; their only daughter Pauline on March 19, 1999; his grandchildren, Mary Elena on March 5, 1995 and Robert Francis on May 9, 1995; his father George on April 13, 1997 and his mother Maria on July 12, 2002; his siblings, Marjorie on May 9, 1947, Dennis on May 24, 1964, Josephine on December 11, 1972, Gerald on November 2, 1977, Linda on March 24, 1997, Montgomery on February 13, 2006, Silas on October 20, 2011, Ruth on October 20, 2012 and William on January 11, 2015. He is survived by his sons, Robert, Eugene and Gordon. He is also survived by his special grandchildren, Jessica, Ricardo, Ernest, Kelvin and Darrell; whom he helped raise as though they were his own children. He is also survived by siblings, Margaret Pollock, Alex Ryle (Florence), Susan Ryle-Munroe (Maxwell), Norman Ryle and Michael Ryle; honorary pallbearers, Marshall Ross, Martha Sumner and Angus Richard, Frank and Peter Beardy, Max, Nick and Clifford Halaburda, Evangeline Traverse, Norman and Winnie Traverse, Elias Bushie, Lawton Sinclair, Grace and Cecil Anderson; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his many friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
