Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE JEAN BOSKO (nee ZABOWSKI) July 23, 1934 - December 22, 2018 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend at the age of 84 years. Cherishing her memory are her daughters, Gail Perich and Darlene Klause (James); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Darryl (Jen/Brianna) Klause, Justin (Brody) Klause, Wesley (Rae-Lynn/Theodore) Perich, and Kristen Perich; many nieces; nephews; in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Tony, of 52 years (2007); her parents, Peter and Katie; sisters Mary, Frances, Pearl; and brother, Edward; several brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; and special friend, Louis Fontaine. Mom and dad married in September of 1954. He was the love of her life. They both shared the love of their family, religion and of course, travelling. After dads passing and, several years later, the loss of her driver's license, it was very hard on mom. She was very lucky in having many friends and social activities to keep her busy as she was one to never sit still. She also loved to cook, bake, attend her "soup and sandwich", as well as senior dances, bingo and any car travel. We would like to thank all the family and friends who visited with mom the last couple of months. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona United Church, 209 Yale Avenue West. Interment will follow at the Transcona cemetery. Darlene, Gayle and families, I’m so sorry to hear about your beautiful mom. Every time I saw her eyes they reminded me so much of my nannies. I want you to know that my mom and my family send you all of our love during this most difficult time. I have many fond memories of your mom and my grandma from when I was a little girl.
