WALTER PAUL LEGGE December 17, 1941 - December 27, 2018 Peacefully Walter passed into the arms of his loving Lord and Saviour at the age of 77 on December 27, 2018. Born an only child he was predeceased by his father and mother, Gilbert and Ann Legge. Walter started work at the Grain Exchange and continued on at many different jobs including the City of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba, and ended his working career as a Security Guard. Walter will be remembered for his fondness for music. He never met a tune he didn't like. Walter would never miss a chance to tell of the Martin guitar he once owned or the 67 Cougar that was his pride and joy. He loved old cars and could tell you make, model and year of each at a glance. His memory of dates and events was impeccable. With the onset of multiple health issues Walter never lost his zeal for life, a testament to his faith in Christ. Our many thanks to the staff at Golden Links Lodge, his church family at Christian Fellowship Chapel, the people of Rotary Villa and his friends and neighbours for the comfort, care and friendship they provided to Walter. A service to celebrate Walter's life will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Christian Fellowship Chapel, 465 Osborne Street. Walter was a lovely neighbour of mine at the Rotary Villa. I would often see him buying cans of Coke from the machine. He always had kind words to say and that radiant smile of his would melt hearts, God has another Angel. - Posted by: Denise (Neighbour) on: Dec 31, 2018
