Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAY JACK LANDIN It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ray Jack Landin on December 27, 2018. He was born in Kenora, Ontario, on June 17, 1929. Ray grew up in Vivian, Manitoba, and just like his father, eventually chose a career with the C.N. Railway. In 1957 he married his soulmate Lilian and they made Edmonton their home. Ray had many passions in life: golfing, hunting, camping and travelling. His greatest passion however was becoming a Shriner, to which he dedicated much of his life. He believed in basic values of truth, peace, good conduct and had a heart of gold, which was the bedrock of his existence and he seldom missed an opportunity to celebrate and socialize with friends. He lost his wife Lilian due to cancer in 2005 and moved back to Winnipeg in 2007. He then married Elfriede Sawatsky in July of 2012. He will be missed by his beloved wife Elfriede, and many friends and family. A private celebration will be held by the family and close friends.

Ray was a great man who was always generous with his time and company. He had a big heart and an amazing sense of humor. We will always have wonderful memories of spending time with Ray and Lillian in Edmonton; the laughs never stopped. We are honored to have known him.
