JACK WALTER NICHOL Peacefully surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren, Jack Nichol passed away on December 29, 2018. Jack was predeceased by his father Walter, his mother Frances and his siblings, Richard and Marie. He is survived by his wife Alice, son Jackson and daughter Kimberley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alycia, Wade, Alia and Ashton. He is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy Olson and Margaret Benoit, brothers, Don, Roy and Leslie Nichol as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., January 3, 2019 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, Manitoba. The family would like to thank Seven Oaks General Hospital Oncology department, St. Boniface General Hospital Heart Failure Clinic, CancerCare Manitoba and WRHA Palliative Care. Individually, Dr. Page, Dr. Gingerich, Dr. Fatoye and all the nurses and support staff for the care and kindness given to Jack and Alice as he walked this journey. In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or St. Boniface General Hospital Heart Failure Clinic be made.
