It is so difficult to lose one you love so much, however knowing your dear wife/mom is now at peace may give you courage to continue on. We came to know Sheila through playing a game she loved..... Pickleball. We played at East Elmwood Community Centre many Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Her fun spirit and laugh as she played the game will always be memorable to us. With our deepest sympathy to your boys, Jim & Tyler and all who were a special part in your life. Rest now Sheila.... Sincerely, Chris & Dave - Posted by: Chris Carpenter & Dave Henry (Pickleball Friends) on: Jan 05, 2019

Thank you for all of your kindness to James Manson in your time of sorrow. He has so many nice things to say about all of you. And rest assured that I know how special Tyler is. His mom will continue to be proud of the person he is. I am so sorry for your loss, but content to know she is not in pain anymore. - Posted by: Shirley Manson () on: Jan 03, 2019

How remarkable to learn that Sheila's second name was Joy...not surprising, because that is what she most certainly brought. She knew of my "blessings to the west" each morning and that I have always included her each day and certainly in the past while as she has navigated this last stretch. This morning I tried again but thought, "Oh you're not there" and I felt her say, "No I am not there but I am 'here'" and I smiled and so my blessing to the west turned to Jim and Ty today... her "boys" that she loved and adored and to her "siblings" and family - may your hearts be held gently as you navigate. So much grace Sheila had in everything she did, all that she touched. Dear Sheila, thank you dear friend for all that you brought to me. I miss you like crazy. I am grateful that you are at peace and you will always be in my heart but I miss you like crazy. I am planting a clematis in the spring for you. I love you very much. :) - Posted by: Pauline Russell (Friend) on: Jan 03, 2019
