Probably noone has ever heard of me, but Sharon and I were best friends in grade 4, when we were living in Forest Glen. We lived quite close to each other and I used to visit and stay for sleepovers. Her family was delightful and her parents were lovely people..very British. I used to love spending time at their house, especially since my parents had just split up which was rare in those days. My father was a pediatric cardiologist, east Indian from Guyana, and my mother was from Halifax, in case she ever mentioned me..I remember when they fostered Timothy (he was just a newborn), and then later adopted him We kept in touch when they moved to Chicago and then they moved back to Mississauga a few years later and we visited a few times..then I recall they went to Lethbridge and we lost touch. I didn't know that she ended up in Winnipeg..My mother remarked and ended up there and I spent a few years there also and married an Irish Doctor in 1985 and we moved back to Ontario. I wish I had known she was there..she had a lovely spirit and was such a warm and friendly soul. I'm so sorry she left you all so early. All the best to her husband and children. I wish I could have known you.XOXO - Posted by: Deborah Singh (Best friend in grade 4) on: May 12, 2023

Words cannot describe how much I miss Sharon. She was a great friend. We spent so much time together running the canteen at SJF with our boys playing hockey and weekly outings.
