I met Fig when I moved to Winnipeg for my internship. He and his wife immediately became like family. Love the lot of them. Fig and I rode with Danny, Dwayne and others, RollingThunder and to Lockport Gaffers. What fun we always had. A humble character, giving, caring for others, a very good friend to all. In emergencies, Guy was there. I give my respects and ride free in heaven Guy, thanks for the time we shared as family and friends. - Posted by: joe marton (friend) on: Mar 02, 2025

I meet Guy for the first time when we were both around twelve years old His brother Skip was dating my sister Jill who he latter married so we had a connection from the start. We some how both ended up loving the open road of riding His was a Harley of course but mine a Honda,Suzuki, Yamaha, but it didn't matter to Guy what I was riding he was always interested but he did tease me and ask when I was going to get a real one then gave me that little smile of his and chuckled. His Gramps used to run a Bingo Hall on Selkirk Avenue he would help him out and work there as well Guy sure loved his family. I have good memories of being at his Parents home on Atlantic Ave for Christmas get togethers he always made sure you had a good drink and that it wasn't empty. So now When I'm riding and think of you I will look up and smile and know that you are riding with the Angles and someday I will get to ride along with you be at peace my friend God Bless - Posted by: Elmer Tough (Friend and Family) on: Jan 12, 2019

Always found Fig to be the best “parts” guy at Harley Davidson of Winnipeg, on Goulet, when Fig was under Robyn Gray's employ! He was like an encyclopaedia, knowing pretty much every part # for Knuckles, Pans, Shovels, and yes, even the Evo’s...and exactly where on the multitude of shelves, that each part was. I haven’t seen Fig in years, and it’s sad that happens sometimes as we get wrapped up in our own lives. I will always remember Fig though, never to be forgotten. My deepest condolences to all of Fig's family & friends. R.I.P. Fig...ride free Brother! - Posted by: David Gledhill (Friend) on: Jan 05, 2019
