Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELAINE ROSE DUCHARME March 28, 1943 - December 19, 2018 Elaine was born in Prince Albert, SK to the late Rose (nee Blanchette) and Howard Wilson. She lived many places, most notably Bienfait and Estevan, SK; San Luis Obispo, Carpinteria; Santa Barbara, CA; Las Vegas, NV; and then made her home in Winnipeg. Elaine was an independent, hard-working woman who gave all she had to her family no matter how small or how hard it was to come by. She had a great affinity for animals and loved spending her time by the Assiniboine River feeding everything that came along. She was a natural beauty, carrying her black locks until her passing. Her sense of humour was legendary and remains one of her greatest legacies. Elaine leaves behind daughters, Tracy and Tammy (Bill); grandchildren, Christina (Jesse), Jaclyn, Sarah (Gerard), Nathan, Catherine, Michael, Larissa; great-grandchildren, Rose, Thomas; siblings, Patricia, Patrick and Reta. She was predeceased by daughter Colleen Jennings and sister Judy. The family wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Golden Links Lodge Care Home for the loving care they provided these past few years and for providing peace and comfort in her last days. Family will be having a private ceremony. Donations can be made to any local animal shelter. Mom, Grandma, Namma. You taught us perseverance, and to never let the past define the future.
