Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • At the very core of every extended family gathering was Uncle Don. That’s where all laughter was coming from. All the after wedding parties were at Uncle Don and Aunty Ollie’s place, because…well let’s face it…they were the party. And they were like that every time I had the pleasure to be with them. His cheeky wink always filled with an arsenal of mischief. Love that about him. Magic. - Posted by: Karen (Niece ) on: Jan 10, 2019

  • My thoughts are with Bob, Craig, Josh, Grace and family during this difficult time. I always enjoyed talking and listening to Don, as he was always witty and had a great sense of humor, something he definitely passed on to Bob. Much love, Jerry. - Posted by: Jerry Scott (Friend of family) on: Jan 10, 2019

  • Working with Don always made coming to work a little easier. He was such a kind person. One Christmas he and Olive hosted a work gathering where I tasted nuts and bolts for the first time. Don brought me the recipe typed out on blue paper after I raved about them incessantly. I still have that paper and I use it every Christmas when I make my own nuts and bolts and it always makes me smile to remember him. Rest In Peace, Don. - Posted by: Judy McConnell (Co-worker at Systems Equipment ) on: Jan 09, 2019
