DENNIS CHECKLEY Peacefully, in his sleep, Dennis Checkley passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, in his residence, at the age of 78 years. In keeping with Dennis' wishes, cremation has taken place and a longer obituary will follow. E.J. Coutu & Co. Funeral Directors 204-253-5086

  • Very sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. So many great memories of our time at Tannis Lake where our family and the Checkley's had cottages. Dennis had a great laugh and was always the life of the party. Dennis was a key member of the Tannis Lake Men's Tug of War team who took on all comers at the Whiteshell Annual Picnic in the 1970's.
