Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMONICA HELENE DAHL July 27, 1982 - January 10, 2019 Monica passed away peacefully, with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her parents, Helmut and Roberta, her sister Jacqueline, brother-in-law Chris Price and her cherished nephews, Jacob and Owen. Also, her Opa Henry Dahl and aunts, uncles and cousins in Winnipeg, Chicago, Calgary, Regina and England. Monica was predeceased by her grandparents, Matthew and Elsie Laverick, and her Oma Lina Dahl. Monica was born in Winnipeg and moved to BC when she was nine years old. She grew up in the community of Ocean Park, South Surrey. After high school she attended BCIT and Royal Roads University where she gained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. She then worked as an award winning, respected and accomplished realtor at Remax Colonial Pacific for 10 years. In 2015, Monica was asked to join the Board of Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, a cause close to her heart. Monica will be remembered for her confidence and strength in leadership. She was a shining light that brightened each room she entered. To know her was to love her. She left an imprint on everyone she met. A Celebration of Life will take place at Peace Portal Alliance Church, Surrey, BC on February 1 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.

Its been 25 yrs since we left Wpg. and most Saturdays I do turn to the Winnipeg Free press and read the obituaries. I cannot tell you how shocked I was to read about your lovely daughter and sister.
