SOEUR PATRICIA LALIBERTE 1931 - 2019 A Saint-Hyacinthe, le 18 janvier 2019, est décédée Soeur Patricia Laliberté (Sainte Clotilde), des Soeurs de Saint-Joseph de Saint-Hyacinthe à l'âge de 87 ans après 68 ans de vie religieuse. Elle est née à Saint-Norbert (Manitoba). C'était la sixième enfant des onze de Joseph Laliberté et de Clotilde Normand. Elle a enseigné plus de 25 ans dans les écoles au Manitoba, en Ontario et en Saskatchewan. Elle avait un doigté spécial pour les enfants qui possédaient des difficultés d'apprentissage. Elle a oeuvré en pastorale plus de dix ans en plus de servir sa communauté au niveau régional et général. Partout elle a été reconnue et recherchée pour ses talents d'accompagnatrice. Soeur Patricia avec deux compagnes ont quitté le Manitoba le 30 août 2012 ce qui mettait un terme à la mission des Soeurs de Saint-Joseph de Saint-Hyacinthe au Manitoba. Elle laisse dans le deuil, outre sa famille religieuse, ses soeurs: Eveline des Soeurs de Saint-Joseph de Saint-Hyacinthe, Salomé des Petites Soeurs de la Sainte-Famille, Marie-Ange (feu Arthur Nolin), Corinne (Raymond Quenelle), une belle-soeur : Simone Boutière (feu Théodore), de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis. Elle sera exposée le jeudi 24 janvier 2019 de 19 h à 21h à : Les Jardins d'Aurélie 2545 rue Dessaulles Saint-Hyacinthe Une prière spéciale aura lieu à 19 h 30. Les funérailles seront célébrées le vendredi 25 janvier 2019 à 14 h en la chapelle de Les Jardins d'Aurélie 2545 rue Dessaulles Saint-Hyacinthe suivies de l'inhumation au cimetière de la Communauté. She was born in St. Norbert, Manitoba. She was the sixth of 11 children of parents, Joseph Laliberté and Clothilde Normand. She has taught for over 25 years in schools in Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan. She had a special skill for children who had learning difficulties. She has been involved in pastoral work for more than ten years, in addition to serving her community at the regional and general levels. Everywhere she has been recognized and sought after for her coaching skills. Sister Patricia with two companions left Manitoba on August 30, 2012, ending the mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Saint-Hyacinthe, Manitoba. She leaves in mourning, besides her religious family, her sisters: Eveline of the Sisters of Saint-Joseph of Saint-Hyacinthe, Salome of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family, Marie-Ange (late Arthur Nolin), Corinne (Raymond Quenelle), a sister-in-law: Simone Boutière (late Theodore), many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. It will be exhibited on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at: Aurélie Gardens, 2545 Dessaulles Street Saint-Hyacinthe. A special prayer will be held at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be celebrated on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Les Jardins d'Aurélie, 2545 Dessaulles Street, Saint-Hyacinthe, followed by the burial in the Community Cemetery.
