Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE RITA GOODING (nee PARENTEAU) Peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019, Rita Gooding passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 83 years. Rita will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill; children, Louis Gooding, Ruth (Craig) McTaggart, Evelyn Gooding, Jack (Zoe) Gooding, Tony (Wendy) Gooding and Leonard (Cindy) Gooding; grandchildren, Jamie, Kerry, Aimee and Willy Gooding, Nolan and Leonard McTaggart, Myles and Dirisha Crosley, Kristen, Toni and Madison Gooding, Michael and Char McDonald; great-grandchildren, Amyra, Marguel and Marz Gooding, Aira and Ashton McDonald; brothers, Donald, Ernie and Stanley Parenteau; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter Donna Gooding; sisters, Rose, Olga and Margaret; brother Leonard and sister-in-law Francis. Funeral service will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Portage la Prairie, MB on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. led by Father Gerald Langevin. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Rita's memory to Sunset Palliative Care Inc., Box 92, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3B2.
