Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK SCHEIRICH It is with deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Jack (Jake) Stephen Scheirich on January 23, 2019 at 85 years of age, at St. Boniface Hospital. Jake was predeceased by his wife Joan, in 1999; his parents, Frank and Ann; sisters, Ann Somerfeld and Kay Carpenter. He will be deeply missed by his two sons: Kurt, wife Irene and their children, Laura (Ty) Higgins and Philip (Rachel), of Ontario; Neil, wife Susan and their children, Daryk and Devon (Steve) Rawluk, of Manitoba; brother Peter, of Ontario and sister Lorraine Slupski, of Manitoba. Thanks to the staff of E6 at St. Boniface Hospital and the palliative care team for their exceptional care and compassion. At Jake's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private interment will take place at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Rest in peace Dad.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your father. Although we didn’t see your dad for a number of years the good memories never faded. Watching our boys grow at Melrose community club, learning to hang wallpaper together, scrapping the inside of the front window so we could see on the wat to referee a football game, or playing baseball together.
