BARBARA LOUISE MCQUAY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara McQuay. She passed Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Tracey (Justin), with their two daughters, Avari and Taveya; son Richard (Shari), and their daughter Rylee and son Declan. Barbara was born in Vancouver, BC, grew up in Edmonton, AB. Married and raised her family in Winnipeg, MB. She ran a business with her husband for 35 years before retiring and building their dream home out at Wanasing Beach. She loved her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, watching football (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), reading, country music, bingo and visiting friends out at the lake. Barbara was a wonderful person who had a big heart and always ended up putting everyone else first. She will be missed dearly by her family and everyone who knew her. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at a later date at her home in Victoria Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, Winnipeg Humane Society or any rescue of your choice.
