TAMMY LOREEN PUNTON It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Loreen Punton, 50, on February 1, 2019. Tammy was born August 1, 1968 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She was raised in Rathwell but spent most of her life in Winnipeg. She worked at the Canada Revenue Agency with an amazing group of people and loved her job. Whether it was playing with the dogs, riding around town on a Harley, or kicking it with friends and family in Mexico, she had a smile on her face. Which meant everyone around her did, too. She is survived by her life partner, Todd Bacon; son Justin; daughter Kayla (Mason); mother and father, Doreen and Ron; her brothers, Jason and Ryan (Yamina); sister-in-law, Sandra (and family); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. All of whom loved Tammy more than words can describe. Tammy was predeceased by her grandparents, George and Eleanor Punton; her uncles, George (Lorraine) and Jim (Caren); niece Alejandra; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ted and Sheryl. The celebration of Tammy's life will be held at Melrose Park Community Centre, 480 Kimberly Ave., on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Please feel free to come and share your love and support as well as celebrate the positive impact Tammy had on all of us. Tammy's family would like to express our deepest gratitude and thanks to all the staff at Concordia and St. Boniface hospitals. As well as everyone who came out to see her while there. You made Tammy feel so much better with your support. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Tammy's memory.

  • It is difficult to find the right words. A beautiful soul taken from us too soon. Tammy played a humorous part in Darren and I meeting 10 years ago, which we liked to laugh about. We have been blessed to have had Tammy as a friend. We will miss her. Condolences to Todd and to Tammy's family. • When our daughters played soccer together in St. Vital and then later against each other Tammy and I were sideline buddies. Thanks to Facebook we kept in touch over the years, recognizing each other’s life events and those of our children. She was the kind of friend you could see after a lengthy time apart and pick right up where you left off. Condolences to her family. - Posted by: Carol Nikkel (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2019

  • Words cannot express our deep sorrow when we heard of Tammy's passing. We only got to know her 4 short years ago, but she helped make our winter vacations to Mexico and Dominican Republic extra special. We will all raise our glasses and offer our own special tribute this year as well when the gang is together again. Todd, you have been in our thoughts and prayers continually and Tammy, you will be missed. God Bless. Angie & Rod Hintz Spruce Grove, Alberta - Posted by: Rod Hintz (Friend) on: Feb 06, 2019
