MILDRED DEVINS October 21, 1930 - February 7, 2019 Mildred Devins was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She lives on in her children, Erica (Ricki) Devins and Buddy Gillies and Bev and Jerry Devins; grandchildren, Bailey Gillies and Francois Roch-Gagne, Justine Orr and Toby Gillies, Brenna and Eric Sklar, and Bianca and Brian Devins; and great-grandsons, Jordan and Kobe Sklar. Community was very important to Mildred; she was an active contributor to Winnipeg's Jewish community, including lifelong contributions to the National Council of Jewish Women and Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, where she initiated and coordinated a Seniors' Recreational Program for 40 years. Mildred had the ability to bring people together; she nurtured and maintained her relationships with loyalty. She was loved dearly by many and her presence will be sorely missed. The family thanks the staff of Weinberg 1 at the Simkin Centre for their excellent and loving care. Donations can be made to the Leisure Program at Winnipeg's Simkin Centre.
