GERALDINE OLGA PATTISON It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Geraldine Pattison in the early hours of February 5, 2019. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Carol and son-in-law Lorne Anderson of White Rock, BC; daughter Sheila and son-in-law Douglas McNab of Langley, BC; sister Marion Laing of Calgary, AB; granddaughters, Alexandra Anderson and Micaela Anderson and her nieces and nephews. Deanie (Gerry) was born in Bawlf, Alberta on May 28, 1924 to Gerald and Olga Sanden. She attended school in Bawlf and then left home to work in Edmonton. It was in Edmonton that she met her husband Robert Pattison and they were married in 1954. During their married life, they lived in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg before retiring to Langley, BC in 2004. Deanie was predeceased by Bob in 2005. Deanie was a strong supporter of her daughters activities in highland dancing and with the Heather-Belle Ladies Pipe Band in Winnipeg; helping out with fundraising events, costume alterations and chaperoning. She loved to travel and has visited most countries in Europe, all of the Provinces of Canada and the warmer US states. Her favourite destination though was Hawaii, where she visited numerous times with Bob and Marion. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment service will take place at a later date in Bawlf, Alberta. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and care aides at the Evergreen Baptist, Campus of Care in White Rock for their kindness and compassion in looking after our Deanie.
