Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I often think of my uncle Morley. He was more of a second father in our lives rather than an uncle. I hope one day I'll meet my uncle again - Posted by: Dora (Neice) on: Mar 16, 2025

  • We are sending sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family of Morley Conner. Cyril has wonderful memories of spending time with the 'Conner Boys' in their home on Aberdeen Avenue before he and his family moved to Toronto in 1948. Unfortunately the family lost touch when they were separated by distance, and each one moved on, but Cyril and Marilyn and their family send love to Neil and Dick and all of the extended family that were a part of Morley's life. May you all be spared from further sorrow and may your memories sustain you at this difficult and sad time. - Posted by: MARILYN & CYRIL LEVENSTEIN (COUSINS) on: Feb 16, 2019

  • Mr. Conner was a good uncle to our dear friends. While Mr. Conner did not know me or my family well, he knew that Corall and her children were very special to us, so he made every effort to be kind and welcoming when we met. I hope he felt the same in return. I used to enjoy sitting out with him, listening to his stories while the others splashed in the pool. (Lucky me, I usually had a Mr. Conner on both sides.) Though Morley was tired the last visit we had, he was a bright and intelligent conversationalist. I appreciated him sharing that time with me. Mr. Conner was also a favourite library patron, it was nice to see him waving at me while I worked. It may seem small, but it was nice to know he was in, to get my very own smile. We send our love to his, and our, special people. - Posted by: The Marions (In friendship) on: Feb 14, 2019
