Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (JACK) BLOWERS April 12, 1920 - February 11, 2019 On the morning of February 11, 2019, John (Jack) Blowers died peacefully, at Deer Lodge Centre, at the age of 98. Jack is survived by daughter Karen; grandsons, Jaret (Joanna) and Brendon (Pam); sisters, Kathleen and Alice; stepson Ed Shaw (Kelly); and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased in death by his wife Doreen, of 54 years; wife Irene, of 18 years; parents; and brother Maurice (Kaye). Jack was born in England on April 12, 1920 to parents, Lily and Robert Blowers. They immigrated to Canada in 1926 and settled in Riding Mountain, Manitoba. After his schooling he worked as a meat inspector but enlisted in the R.C.A.F. at war time. Following a lengthy career in the Air Force, Jack retired to pursue his second career as a beekeeper, and very successful he was. He was also an active member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deer Lodge Worship Centre.
