MURIEL STOPPEL It is with sadness and fond memories we announce the peaceful passing of Muriel, aged 96, on February 11, 2019. Survived by her children, Rick (Bess) and Roxanne (George), sister Lorraine, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, daughter Barbara, mother Luceil Stewart, and sister Marge Smith. Muriel's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Grey Street United Church, 651 Sandhurst Ave. on February 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place with private family interment to follow. The family would like to thank the staff of Lions Manor for their care of Mom.

Dear Roxanne, Dicky and I are sorry to hear about your mother. I have known you for the age of our boys, therefore knowing your mother for that time too. She was always around enjoying family and helping with chores or giving a few words of advice. She was a special lady in my heart and you were lucky to have such a great mom.
