JAMES SAARELA On Friday, February 8, 2019, James passed away at the age of 76. James will forever live in the hearts of his wife Sylvia; son Arthur; daughter Beverley and brothers, Walter and Arvid. Dad was a kind-hearted, gentle man and his absence will be felt. You were always in our lives and will be in our hearts forever. As per Dad's wishes, no service was to be held. Many, many years ago when I was young, my parents Leonard & Elsie North would pack up us kids and travel from Thunder Bay, Ontario to Elma, Manitoba to visit all the aunts, uncles and cousins living in that area. I have so many fond memories of spending time with them all. Jim was my co-worker and fellow technician for most of our careers in telecommunications. His clever, logical approach to situations made him a master of diagnosing technical problems.
