BEATRICE MARLAND It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on February 16, 2019 at the age of 92. Mom was predeceased by her husband Harry, parents, Lena and William, brother James (Peggy), sister Elaine, and granddaughter Carrie. Mom is survived by her sons, William (Martha) and Keith (Linda), brother-in-law Ged, grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Kimberly (Richard) and Libby; great-grandchildren, Ritchie, Brody, Zachary and Jaxson; niece Debbie, and nephews, David Sr., David and Steven. Mom was born and raised in Manchester, England. During the war Mom met and married our dad, a Canadian soldier. They immigrated to Canada where she started her family. Mom worked in the catering business and often reminisced about having served Queen Elizabeth dinner on two separate occasions. Mom will be sorely missed by her family and special friend Bob who she was always thrilled to see. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. Thank you to all Mom's friends and neighbours, especially Ann and Liz.

  • She was a most wonderful neighbor - missed her greatly when she had to leave the home Harry and Bea shared for so many years. She never lost her ‘English’ accent and will always remember the last words when we visited over the fence, “bye Love”. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Liz Zieske (Neighbor) on: Feb 23, 2019
