Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION AGNES THIESSEN June 3, 1930 - February 24, 2019 Marion Agnes Thiessen (nee Gawron) passed from this life, peacefully in Maple Ridge, BC. Marion was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Herman A. Thiessen. Born at sea during the Gawron family homesteading move from Poland to Kelvington, SK, she graduated St. Boniface Hospital School of Nursing and served as an RN in Winnipeg for many years. She is survived by her children Jo-Ann (Ian Lee), Diane (Lorne Dyke), Ken (Jan) and Gerry (Katherine), 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of Baillie House for Marion's care.

My condolences for the passing of a very caring and giving aunty that helped me get my career going in Winnipeg 31 years ago. I am forever grateful to her and Uncle Herman.
