SHINKARIK ROBERT (Bob) STEPHEN June 2, 1937 - March 6, 2018 PAULETTE MARY-ANN (nee Yewusz/Yewish) March 15, 1942 - December 19, 2016 Both predeceased by their parents and their daughter Brenda (Fehr). Lovingly remembered by Paulette's eldest sister Anne (Jackson), daughter Dawn (Darrell Gates), son Kevin (Agnes), grand-children, Jordan (Gates), Elliette and Christianne (Fehr), Kelina and Gabriel (Shinkarik) as well as many family members. You were both loving, caring and had a great sense of humor. You are both dearly missed. May you rest in peace. We love you. I am very sad to find this news. I realize it was about 7 years ago, but I hope pray for the family. I also notice in the obituary that Brenda passed away. I am truly sorry for your looses of dear loved ones. I was friends with Kevin when Mr. & Mrs. S. took me in while homeless at 17. I have sooo many fond memories of them. They would read the newspaper for the horse races and bet on them. Being a horse person, we would have some discussions about what horse they should bet on. I remember Mrs. S teaching me manners eg. like making sure I always used a plate when I ate anything with crumbs. I would forget often. However, she would use her wit and patience and eventually developed the habit. They provided love, laughter, shelter, food and guidance.
