So sorry to hear about Dean’s passing. We worked together in the '90s also. He gave me one of his paintings before too. An artist original. We had stayed in contact for a while, but lost touch. I was really disappointed when I heard he came to Thompson, but I was out of town and missed him. I’ll always remember him teaching me snooker (so well that I finally beat him one game ever), his great laugh and humour, and his great heart. Too soon to go. Rest well - Posted by: Susannah Mueller (Friend) on: Jun 30, 2019

To Dean’s Loved Ones, Dean was such a special person. He had a heart of gold, and a special way of connecting with kids. My son Gabe grew to love him very much, and loved hearing about Dean’s vast knowledge of cars and different cultures! He always had a twinkle in his eye and a joke up his sleeve. I will miss debating with him and listening to his laugh after he told a smart joke! Dean would have given the shirt off his back to help anyone in need and was as down to earth as a person could be. He will be so deeply missed by all of us. Wrapping you all in warm and caring thoughts, Todd, Katie and Gabe Martin - Posted by: Katie Martin (Friend) on: Mar 07, 2019

Dean and I lived and worked together in the mid 90’s in Winnipeg. I moved back out West and made sure to visit on my trips back to the prairies. We lost touch over the last few years but I am both in shock and saddened that I won’t get another visit in one day... He was a great guy and will be missed. - Posted by: Lee Hutchison (Friend ) on: Mar 02, 2019
