Condolences to Mike's family and friends. The loss of this extremely special friend leaves a large hole in my heart. There are no words to express the shock and sadness I felt to learn of his passing. He was indeed a great cook and I will always remember his perogies, cabbage rolls, Mexican meatloaf and of course the roast beef which he made more for my dogs than anyone ;). He took me to many concerts and we met a lot of musicians in our day, I’ll never forget the Hall & Oates concert, they were my crush for so many years. Today when I hear their music I always think of Mike. We also played a lot of cards in our day and it was a joy to have him in my life. I miss you Mikey, take good care until we meet again. - Posted by: Karen Lutz (Friend) on: May 28, 2019

I will miss my friend Mike dearly. I will never forget the fun we had going to free concerts in Vancouver.. Mike took me backstage at Aerosmith to meet Steven Tyler. We played endless cribbage games.. Mike said " You are the only person in the world who double skunked me!" Mike would always say I got lucky and in recent years say it never happened. Mike was a great guy and even better friend. I will miss him dearly. God bless him - Posted by: John in Toronto (Good friend ) on: Mar 04, 2019

Tracy and family, I was saddened to read that Michael had passed away. It has been over 40 years but those eyes are just as I remembered when he was a young boy. Tracy, please accept my most sincere condolescences and know that I'm remembering our time together as youngsters fondly. Take care Lesley - Posted by: Lesley Rooney (Harris) (Old family friend from Winnipeg) on: Mar 02, 2019
