Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR FORD (nee BEREZUK) Born in Winnipeg in January, 1944 and died peacefully surrounded by her family, on February 28, 2019 in her 76th year. Eleanor was a graduate of Miles Macdonell Collegiate and the Manitoba Teacher's College. After graduating, she taught elementary school in East Kildonan and was a music specialist in the St. Boniface School District. Music was her passion in life and she led a 60 member children's choir at Windsor Park United Church. In 1969 she moved to Ottawa with her husband Geoffrey. In Ottawa she continued her music by being the Music Director at Knox United Church in Nepean. Loving wife of Geoffrey for 54 years. Devoted mother of David (Shari) and Pamela. Cherished Grandma to Noah and Gabriella and granddog Bailey. Beloved sister of Gerald Berezuk (Sheila) and Carol Woodward (Allan). Eleanor will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service for Eleanor will be celebrated at Glen Cairn United Church in Kanata, ON on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lung Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
