Dear Gwen, Cathy, Rob & family, We were so sorry to hear of Merv's passing & have been remembering with great fondness our years as neighbours & friends in Hazelridge-Anola, as well as all the times we helped one another out during health crises, home repairs & every kind of weather-related challenge - especially the time you pushed me out of a snowbank in your nightie, Gwen). We will be forever grateful to you both for your supreme generosity as you accompanied the girls & I (& a tranquilized dog) by driving the noisy, speed-regulated U-Haul, full of our worldly goods, out to Vancouver in 1980. I am also recalling how grateful I was for your help at Heather's wedding in 1987 & how much your being there to celebrate with us meant to all of us. We're sorry we can't get to Merv's memorial, but we'll be thinking of you that day & will be in contact to plan for a road trip to AB to visit in the summer. May God comfort you all in your sadness & bless you with sweet memories of happy times with dear Merv. Love, June & Ted. - Posted by: Ted & June Wasnick (Long-time neighbours & friends) on: Mar 17, 2019
