JAMES (JIM) MCQUEEN Jim passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 91. Jim was born January 20, 1928 in Avonlea, Saskatchewan. Remaining to forever cherish his memory is Pat Ferens. Jim had two children: daughter Christine (Murray Wayne) and son Paul (Kris), and five grandchildren. Jim was in the Navy for five years during the Korean War and retired from the Bank of Nova Scotia after 37 years service, where he held many positions. Jim was a long serving member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Pat and Jim enjoyed travelling, playing crib and Jim had the ability to put a smile on everyone's face - his famous line "did you hear the one ....". A private family service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
